Snow galore
From December, the Wildkogel Arena is pure white
For winter sports enthusiasts, the Wildkogel Arena Neukirchen and Bramberg offers perfect skiing opportunities. The 2,100 metres altitude of this ski area ensures that the slopes are covered with that coveted white carpet from as early as December. So, when on 6th December the Wildkogel cable cars open their turnstiles, skiers and snowboarders can enjoy perfectly groomed and wide powder slopes.
Long turns without getting in the way of others – that’s the dream of every skier. In the Wildkogel Arena Neukirchen and Bramberg, this is easy because the wide slopes offer more than enough space. With its wonderful location, the ski area offers guaranteed snow with the best slope conditions - and this from December to after Easter. With 85 percent blue and red slopes, the Wildkogel Arena ski area is ideal for beginners, returners and pleasure skiers. But more demanding descents also attract all those who want to challenge themselves.
Ski dwarfs whiz happily through the obstacles doing a perfect snow plough posture in the children's areas of the ski schools and wave to the mascots Kogel Mogel and his girlfriend Kogel-Mia. In the Family Park with fun slope and snow snail, on the ski movie and speed check track, the little ski stars' love of skiing is stirred up in a playful yet sustainable way.
In the Wildkogel Arena, the brakes are applied only to enjoy the mountain restaurants, rustic huts and inns – all with stunning views. After a refreshment with Kaiserschmarrn, Kasnocken or whatever your skier's heart desires, an active day in the snow is even more fun.
In the Wildkogel Arena, you can also shoot down the mountain on a toboggan. From the mountain station of the Smaragdbahn cable car, the longest illuminated toboggan run in the world winds its way down to Bramberg. Between start and finish there are 14 kilometres of track and 1,300 metres of altitude, an almost endless pleasure on runners. The toboggan run is not only a pleasure during the day, but also in the evening, when it is illuminated until 10.00 p.m. and creates a romantic atmosphere.
The Wildkogel Arena also offers an idyllic backdrop for gentle winter sports. Extensive winter hikes, snowshoe tours and impressive wildlife observations with a National Park Ranger are at the top of the to-do list. In short - the Wildkogel Arena is the perfect region to enjoy your winter to the fullest.
